Chicago Connection has been a favorite of mine since childhood, and it's still just as amazing as I remember! Growing up, it was always a good night when my parents brought their pizza home after work, and that same excitement still comes with every bite. The crust is the perfect thickness--just the right balance of chewy and crispy--and the cheese is always melted to perfection. No matter what toppings you choose, they're fresh and flavorful. This is hands-down one of the best local pizza places around, and I'll always be a loyal fan. If you're looking for great pizza with a nostalgic touch, Chicago Connection won't disappoint! If you love Hawaiian Pizza too, it's excellent.
This place is great. We come here as they have deep dish thick crust. They give plenty of sauce and the cheese is plentiful. You know it's good when the cheese is thick and it stretches. Sometimes we need a knife just to cut it as there is so much. Come here this place is great. Don't let the other complaints below deter you. Come for amazing food. Call ahead and you can still sit and enjoy the pizza quicker.
I ignored all the negative reviews, and decided to try this place anyways. The service was great and the pizza was really good. Great place to have a Chicago style pizza. Pricing is par with most pizzerias. I will definitively be back.
Stopped in for lunch and wasn't expecting much with the reviews that were given. We were pleasantly surprised with great service and seated right away. I ordered the antipasto salad and my family ordered the garlic chicken pizza and Maui pizza. All our food was good. It wasn't what I considered Chicago pizza but we enjoyed it.
12/20/21 - there are only 2 employees working the store tonight. My order was delivered 30 minutes early and incomplete. Not to mention the fact that my pizzas were delivered uncut, when I specifically ordered them to be cut. I called the store, and the gentleman that answered apologized profusely. He then took charge of the situation, got my 3rd pizza sent out to me and even sent a pizza cutter for free. Shame on the corporate people at Chicago Connection for letting your store get like this. But a huge round of applause for the few guys working tonight. They went above and beyond when the odds were against them. I sincerely hope someone reads this and rewards the employees working tonight. Bravo.
Despite all the negative reviews this restaurant seems to generate my husband and I decided to give try one Friday evening. We've recently bought a new house in an area that no one seems to want to deliver pizza to, so huge thanks to Chicago Connection for being the only pizza company we've found to do so to date. The order process was simple, and the delivery arrived just in time. We ordered a medium Double Deluxe Pepperoni (two layers of pepperoni over and under extra mozzarella cheese, $19.95) and single cheese bread (garlic bread with melted mozzarella served with marinara sauce, $3.95). I'm not very used to deep-dish style pizza, so it was A-okay for us. I mean, you can't really go wrong with pizza. But it didn't blow my mind away. There was an excellent amount of cheese however not enough pepperoni for my liking, so then it was overwhelmingly cheesy. I ended up slapping some of my own pepperoni and it did the job! The cheese bread was alright as well. Overall this was a subpar experience. I will order again only because (1) no one else orders out to me and (2) I'm a huge believer in second chances. Maybe I just ordered the wrong things? If anyone has any suggestions or favorite menu items please let me know. I would love to update this to a 5 star review! :)
